Cancer-stricken mother set up a Times Square billboard to help her daughter find love | DatingWise.org
In terms of finding an ideal man, mother and daughter named Beth and Molly Davis both affirm that Beth does know best. This involves putting in an extra effort and taking measures to an extent, like posting a Times Square billboard in search of her daughter’s life partner.
Just last week, a 47 by 25 feet billboard ad rose above the city and can be seen through multiple crossroads. They said the billboard was right above the Tonic which reads, “Date my daughter,” together with Molly’s photo and dating profile URL, who was currently 30 years old.
This was all because of Beth’s agenda: to help Molly find her ideal man and leave her in a good pair of hands.
Beth Davis is a 61-year-old mother from Boston. In 2004, she was initially diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy. However, last June 2020, her cancer developed and turned into metastatic breast cancer, which, unfortunately, had spread significantly to her bones.
Earlier, Beth worked in pharmaceutical sales. She told The Post that she would like her daughter Molly to be settled well before she’s gone. She and her 62 years old medical writer husband Rick hope to accompany their daughter on her wedding day and walk her down the aisle. This is why she wishes to maintain her body in a stable condition and prevent the instances of her cancer worsening for 2 years by taking insurance tablets as her cancer treatment. With the current, serious health issues she has, there is no doubt that her agenda is an urgent matter.
With the matters at hand, she created a user profile for Molly on Wingman. It is a dating app that includes testimonies provided by the family and friends of the user. The Wingman founder named Tina Wilson was very touched by the user profile and by Beth’s deed. Wilson reportedly was the one who arranged the said billboard, with Beth also appearing in it. Together with Beth’s small photo reads a statement that she is Molly’s wingman and mother. Beth says that Molly served as her wingman, accompanying her to several oncology visits, and now it’s her turn.
Together, Beth and Molly recognized the posted billboard ad personally the past weekend. Beth said that the moment they stepped out of the Uber, she instantly recognized Molly. She threw her head back, her glasses fell off and they both giggled. They were so full of excitement. Beth said that while most people get 15 minutes’ worth of fame, she and her daughter Molly are getting a whole month.
As they were in a daze and gazing, an NYPD officer recognized Molly, stared at the posted billboard, and greeted her. Beth instantly added and replied on how pretty her daughter is. Unluckily, they failed to get the officer’s cellphone number. Next to Molly Davis’ billboard is the promotional billboard of Sour Album by Olivia Rodrigo. “Poor Olivia,” Beth said, adding that her daughter glows brighter than she does.
Some of Beth’s friends told her that their daughter would kill their parents if they did just like what Beth did, thinking that they would be meddling with their daughters’ lives. However, Molly recognizes herself as an easygoing person and is very appreciative of her Mom’s effort to find her an ideal mate.
Molly, who is a medical-device salesperson from Boston said in a statement to The Post that it brings numerous opportunities. She said that she’d like to find someone who adores her as much as she adores them. She added that she was looking for someone who will make a positive difference in her life and that it’ll all be worthwhile if this broadcasts that. Anyone who has a chance to be with Molly should take things slowly at first. Molly elaborated that a good first date in her opinion is a low-risk endeavor. They could go out for a drink and play pool. The trifecta would be astute, kind, and amusing. Someone who embodies Chris Hemsworth’s or Ryan Reynolds’ essence.
Molly said that she’s letting her Mom have the liberty to filter profiles. She also added that she values the relationship she has with her parents where they talk about things over and act in multitudes of kindness.
