Celebs Go Dating will return next year due to some cast members in COVID isolation

Celebs Go Dating

At least four stars who will feature in the next 10th season of the E4 dating show have been barred from shooting, according to sources in The Sun. This is owing to the self-isolation laws now in effect.

“As is usually the case, the safety and well-being of the cast and crew members is our first and foremost priority.” According to a Celebs Go Dating spokesperson, “rigorous COVID-19 regulations have been established and are being followed at all phases of the production process.”

To ensure that they comply with current government laws, some members of the cast are now undertaking self-isolation periods. Because of this, “additional cast members will be involved in sequences in a safe environment, and further filming will be postponed in order to ensure the safety of everyone.”

“It had been a long time coming for our stars to go back out in the real world and date prospective suitors.” When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter in October, Lime Pictures CEO Sarah Tyekiff said, “We can’t wait to watch how they fare as they step out of their comfort zones and into the real world, especially when it comes to dating. By increasing the number of dates, obstacles, and compatibility tests that the candidates must overcome in order to find love this season, we want to make it more difficult for them to traverse the season.”

According to a statement from the network, a new batch of episodes will return in 2022, after the success of the first season “Celebrities Go Dating: The Mansion”.
